Three Exercises To Make Your Day More Awesome
Take a few minutes and try to complete these 3 exercises daily while you're "on the grind". You can do them anywhere and your body will be glad you did.
The Cat/Cow stretch is a good start to helping get some movement back in your day. If you've been sitting for a while, these can turn those frowns upside down. Try to shoot for 8-10 reps or set a timer for 1:00 and do them while focusing on your breathing.
The second exercise that's going to make your day awesome is the side-lying t-spine rotations with arm sweep. These are absolutely glorious and quite good at helping you get your upper back to move and your shoulders to unlock. Try 5-10 reps per side or set a timer again for 1:00 on each side.
The third and final exercise is feet elevated recovery breathing. Take a load off Betty. These will help you conquer any stress that you might be getting from the higher-ups or that one dingus in the office that always seems to be a pain in the you-know-what. There's no magic pill here. Try and relax with your feet elevated and just BREATHE! Try taking 10 nose breaths into the belly and out of the mouth or set a timer for 2-5:00 and just close your eyes and go to your happy place.
